Unreal 2 Expanded Multiplayer
Saiboat has proven his movement ability time and time again, making even the most complex of trick jumps look effortless. This movement training level, designed to stretch a players speed, skill and agility presents several increasingly complex stages, at which the game's lightweight class must wall-dodge, boost and launch himself through the course's various obstacles.

We hope even those from outside the "Unreal 2 eXpanded MultiPlayer" - community will appreciate this video; it is just a taste of better things to come :> Enjoy.

Unreal 2 Expanded Multiplayer
Good news everyone! The new improved MapVote is now available for download. I have added the following features since 0.4:
  1. New, improved graphical interface, graphical configuration menu as well
  2. Time delay between votes, and after joining the game (to stop vote-spamming)
  3. Maximum number of votes imposed (to stop vote-spamming)
  4. A choice of poll styles, to make it less intrusive for players using lower resolutions
  5. WebAdmin Module, to help server admins change settings more easily
  6. Admin-configurable Message Of The Day - admins can set the text, colour and duration of the MOTD.
  7. Improved map downloading for admin users - maplist is now downloaded more slowly and is cached by the client.
Downloading/Installing
The new package is available here. It is available both zipped and as separate files. For installation and usage instructions please first consult the readme.txt.

Notes
This is still remaining alpha for a reason. Please report bugs to me via e-mail and I shall attempt to rectify the problems as quickly as I can. Continued testing and bug-reporting will make it more stable, I can also add the features that you want.

U2XMP: Unreal 2: XMP Master Server Online!

Unreal 2 Expanded Multiplayer
So it feels like a long time since anything really drastic happened in the Unreal 2 XMP community, but good news is here, in the form of a replacement Master Server coded by ]HoC[Omen. The new MS made the news at BeyondUnreal and UT2007 World and is already breathing life into the wounded community. Efforts are underway to gain access to the domain "legendent.com" in order to provide seamless connectivity to the new server. In the meantime, we have put together a UI Mod which allows players to easily alter their configuration to query the new master server.

So far responses have been excellent, even to the point that new servers are sprouting up each week.

U2XMP: XMP Revival Fun Night !

Unreal 2 Expanded Multiplayer
If you've never played Legend Entertainment's classic multiplayer add-on for their digital masterpiece that was Unreal 2: The Awakening. Then you may well wonder what all the fuss was about. It should however be noted that during it's somewhat foreshortened life, it spawned a following and community which, I expect, will not be rivalled in the near future by any other online game.

The secret to it's success was some of the most intense and rewarding gameplay, coupled with a style of teamplay which remains unmatched to date. Unfortunately, the closure of Legend Entertainment by Atari, the lack of decent master server provision by the same, and the advent of U2:XMP's successor "UTXMP" (a conversion of the classic game to the Unreal Tournament 2004 platform), meant U2XMP is now played only by a loyal hard core of dedicated players.

However, as a tribute to this great game, and really just an excuse to have a good laugh and some extremely good games, we decided to stage a small revival match for old times' sake.

We did.

It rocked!
